Choose a Weekday or Weekend Course
Our weekday PADI Open Water Courses run from Monday to Wednesday (3 consecutive days) and our weekend courses start on a Sunday and finish the following weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The course currently costs $395 (normally $495) and includes your PADI e-learning access pass (for the theory component of the course), 3 days practical instruction plus certification fees, log book, dive tables and your PADI Certification Card (upon successful completion of the course).
Your PADI Open Water Diver Course Schedule
- Theory: Complete your e-Learning theory at your own pace at home or on the move before Day 1.
- Day 1: 9am to 6pm. Registration and equipment then off to the pool for introduction to basic scuba diving skills.
- Day 2: 9am to 4pm. Open Water dives 1 and 2 - Taking your new skills to the open water!
- Day 3: 9am to 3pm. Open Water dives 3 and 4 - Refining and developing your skills with your instructor
All equipment is included in the course cost with the exception of mask, snorkel, boots and fins which are considered to be personal items. For comfort and hygiene reasons, many students prefer to buy their own and our professional staff can help you to find equipment that fits properly and suits your requirements. Alternatively, these items can all be rented for the duration of the course for $50 ($25 for mask and snorkel, $25 for boots + fins).
To book your course online simply select a start date and follow the instructions. You can also book by phone with credit card details or drop into the Dive Centre to book in-store. Payment is made at time of booking to secure your place and receive your PADI e-Learning access code - that way you can get started straight away! To enroll you must be at least 12 years old, be in good physical health, and be able to swim 200m and tread water for 10 mins.
