Discover the best of Sydney's underwater world… at night!

Essential Info

Guided night dives are a great way to see the nocturnal animals of Sydney. You will find octopus, cuttlefish, rays and predatory fish coming out from hiding to give you a completely different experience to a daylight hour.

For our night dives, we recommend you have an Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate (PADI, SSI, or equivalent) or to be an experienced Open Water Diver. Ideally, your last dive will have been less than 12 months ago. Divers have more fun and feel more relaxed in smaller groups so we limit our shore dives to six certified divers per guide.

We meet here at Dive Centre Bondi at 6pm to organise equipment and choose our preferred dive sites.  There are many great dive sites to choose from and we're always happy to take requests but we also select sites depending on weather and sea conditions. Our most popular dive sites include Gordons Bay, Bare Island (La Perouse), Little Bay, Kurnell and Shark Point. All dives are shore dives. For more information on each site, visit our Sydney Diving page.

Prices

A night dive with a local knowledgeable guide costs $55 and we offer flexible pricing on equipment rental depending on what you need. Here's a guide:
