A week of diving from Waidroka Bay Dive & Surf Resort, at the southern tip of Fiji's Coral Coast and the gateway to Beqa Lagoon. Get up close with bull, lemon, nurse and the occasional tiger shark on the world-famous Bistro shark dive, explore soft-coral reefs, drift walls and swim-throughs, and spend a full day at the remote deep-water atoll Cakau Leka Leka — reachable only from Waidroka.

13 boat dives over 5 days, including 2 shark dives at the Bistro and a 3-tank day at Cakau Leka Leka.

Travel
Fly Sydney → Nadi with Fiji Airways (FJ914, 6:00am–12:00pm). Two-hour transfer to Waidroka Bay Resort, welcome drink and an afternoon at leisure.

Days 2–6
Diving
5 days of boat diving on the Coral Coast and in Beqa Lagoon: soft coral, drift walls, swim-throughs and a couple of wrecks.

Shark day
Bistro shark dive
Dive the world-famous Bistro with up to eight shark species — bull, lemon, nurse and the occasional tiger shark.

Mid-week
Cakau Leka Leka
Conditions allowing, a full 3-tank exploratory day at the remote deep-water atoll 24 miles offshore.

Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent), or Open Water certification with at least 25 logged dives and the Deep Diver specialty.
Need your Advanced or Deep Diver before the trip? Ask us about a package deal to get you ready.
Nitrox certification is handy (Nitrox available at FJD 30 per tank).
Dive and travel insurance is strongly recommended, as all payments are non-refundable.
A valid passport with 6+ months remaining is required.

What's included?
Return economy flights Sydney–Nadi with Fiji Airways, return airport transfers, 7 nights twin-share at Waidroka Bay Resort, all meals and snacks, 5 days of boat diving (13 dives including 2 shark dives and a 3-tank day at Cakau Leka Leka), a kava ceremony and Lovo feast, and a Yanuca Island picnic visit.
What's not included?
Marine park fees (small, paid locally in cash), rental equipment (FJD 50 per day), Nitrox (FJD 30 per tank), gratuities, and dive & travel insurance.
Which room should I choose?
Panoramic Rooms are smaller but have the best ocean views and a shared verandah. Deluxe Oceanfront Bures are larger and more private, with their own terrace. Both have ensuite, A/C and a fridge.
How big is the group?
This is a small group trip, limited to 8 divers.
What if I need to cancel?
This trip is run through our travel partner, Diveplanit, and all payments are non-refundable. Changes after deposit attract an AUD 250 fee. We strongly recommend dive and travel insurance.
