The Halcyon Symbios is a next-generation, chest-mounted electronic closed-circuit rebreather (eCCR) that fundamentally rethinks modularity and situational awareness. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the harness and cylinders you already dive, it serves as a lightweight, streamlined solution for advanced exploration.

True Modularity and Streamlined Profile Unlike traditional heavy back-mounted units, the Symbios clips securely to the D-rings of your existing sidemount or backplate setup. This chest-mounted position acts as a natural counterbalance to steel cylinders, improving trim while maintaining a low profile. Highly travel-friendly, the system breaks down in minutes and is compact enough to fit into standard carry-on luggage for international dive trips.

Advanced GreenFlash Hybrid Sensing Cell validation is a critical priority on extended technical dives. The Symbios features a hybrid O2 sensing system that combines traditional electrochemical galvanic sensors with a solid-state digital optical sensor, known as the GreenFlash. This redundancy delivers a robust cross-checking mechanism for unmatched reliability deep in a cave or on a wreck.

Wireless Ecosystem & Intuitive Alerts Reducing the usual clutter of hoses, the Symbios utilizes a wireless ecosystem that reads diluent and oxygen pressures via wireless tank pods. It communicates seamlessly with the Handset and HUD using redundant wireless technology. In the event of a critical issue-such as a PPO2 drop or spike-the active Guardian safety system triggers tactile vibration alarms directly within the chest unit, ensuring you feel the warning instantly even if your attention is off your screens.
