Chuuk Atoll (Truk), in Micronesia's Caroline Islands, is the final resting place of more than 70 WWII ships, planes and submarines sunk during Operation Hailstone — the most substantial naval loss in history. Dive Japanese Imperial Navy wrecks from 18m to 64m, many still holding cargo, weapons and everyday personal items from 1944.

Trip Details: 2 Week Itinerary

  • $8,375 per person for the 2-week itinerary; a 1-week option is also available for $7,450.
  • Return flights Sydney–Truk via Manila (Philippine Airlines & United Airlines, incl. Australian departure taxes) and return airport transfers in Truk.
  • 2 nights twin-share in Manila (1 outbound, 1 return) and 13 nights twin-share at Blue Lagoon Resort, Truk Lagoon.
  • 24 boat dives, with longer runtimes allowed.
  • Join Duncan on this WWII wreck-diving expedition to Chuuk Atoll.
