Why Take This Course?

Being a GUE diver often means being part of the team on a diving project. Good project team members need to support logistics and have the skills to prepare breathing mixes for their diving teams.

GUE's Gas Blender course introduces the essential skills required to prepare diving breathing mixtures, with an emphasis on GUE standard gases — covering the theory of gas blending, GUE standard gases, oxygen risks, blending systems, and the formulas and software used, plus hands-on practice with cascading systems, compressors, and gas boosters.

This course benefits anyone interested in dive projects, expeditions, supporting a dive centre or club, or personal applications.

Part 1

ACADEMICS & GAS PHYSICS

Gas laws and blending calculations, GUE standard mixes, oxygen handling, and the fire and toxicity risks you are managing.

Part 2
