Five nights diving from the Kapalai water village off Sabah, followed by three nights in the Sepilok jungle for orangutans, sun bears and rainforest wildlife. Thirteen boat dives across Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai, plus a guided jungle tour — non-divers are very welcome on the whole trip.

Trip Details

Stay at the Sipadan-Kapalai water village — chalets on stilts over the Ligitan Reefs, linked by wooden walkways with turquoise water and reef fish below.
Minutes by boat from Sipadan Island for big fish and turtles, and Mabul for muck diving and macro life.

Fly Sydney → Kuala Lumpur → Tawau, then transfer by boat to the Kapalai water village.

Prerequisites

Divers must hold an Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent) and be current in diving to join the diving portion of the trip. Non-divers are welcome for the land-based Borneo experience.
Travel insurance is mandatory.
A valid passport with 6+ months remaining is required.
