One Hour Snorkel
Local Guide
Explore Sydney's coastline and discover schools of fish, octopus, seahorses, rays and the resident blue grouper. Never snorkelled before? No problem — one of our experienced guides will show you the ropes, and life rings are available if you're not a confident swimmer.
No Experience Required!
The tour starts at Dive Centre Bondi in the morning to organise equipment before heading down to the snorkelling site.
There are many great sites to choose from and we're always happy to take requests but we also select sites depending on weather and sea conditions.
Our most popular snorkel sites include Gordon's Bay, Clovelly Pool, Little Bay and Malabar Beach.
The tour will include a one hour snorkelling session with a local knowledgeable guide who will help you feel comfortable in the water and can point out the resident species.

How do I book a tour?
Pick a date on the booking widget, complete the form, and you'll receive a confirmation email.
What's included in the price?
All snorkelling equipment — mask, snorkel, fins, and a life ring if needed — plus your guide. Just bring your swimwear and a towel.
Do I need certification?
No certification needed — this is a beginner-friendly guided tour. You just need to be able to swim; minimum age is 8 (guardian consent required under 18).
What if conditions aren't safe?
We monitor conditions daily. If the tour can't go ahead safely, we'll reschedule at no cost.
What if I need to reschedule?
Rescheduling is free as long as it's more than 72 hours before your tour. Inside 72 hours there's a $50 transfer fee.
Can I keep snorkelling after the tour?
Yes — you're welcome to keep your rental gear until the end of the day at no extra cost.
I want to do this privately, or with just my friends — can that be done?
Yes! We run private dives and tours for individuals and groups when the scheduled dates don't line up with your availability. Get in touch and we'll arrange one for you.
Where will we dive?
This depends on the conditions on the day. We always pick the best and safest site for the swell, wind and visibility at the time, and we'll confirm where we're heading on the morning.
Can a friend or partner join for the day if they're not diving?
They're very welcome to meet us at the dive site, but unfortunately we don't have a spare seat in the vehicle for them.
Where should we park?
Ocean Street North is your best bet — free parking all day, a short walk from the dive centre. From there you can either come with us to the dive site or take your own car.
Can I use my own vehicle?
Definitely. Meet us at the dive centre to get fitted for your equipment — we'll transport it to the site and back for you. If you drive yourself you can head off straight from the dive site instead of coming back to the centre for the clean-up.
Should I come earlier to try on the equipment?
No need. The start time is the time we want you at the dive centre — fitting your equipment is already built into it.
I don't have a dive buddy — is that okay?
Absolutely. We'll pair you with another diver in the group or with the instructor running the session. Coming on your own is completely normal here.
I don't have any equipment — can I still join?
Yes. We have a big range of scuba equipment available for you to use.
