Watch octopus, cuttlefish and rays hunt after dark on a guided night dive.
Discover Sydney by Night

Sydney's reef sites feel completely different after dark — octopus on the hunt, Port Jackson sharks, cuttlefish, and bioluminescence if you switch your torch off. For Open Water divers with recent dive experience. Torch and full equipment rental available if you need it.
Discover the Local Sites... after DARK!
Our most popular dive sites include Gordon's Bay, Bare Island (La Perouse), Little Bay, Malabar, Camp Cove and Clifton Gardens.
Divers have more fun and feel more relaxed in smaller groups so we limit our night dives to five certified divers per group.
We meet here at Dive Centre Bondi to organise equipment and choose our preferred dive site, depending on weather and sea conditions.
We normally finish around 9:30pm.

How do I book a dive?
Pick a date on the booking widget, complete the form, and you'll receive a confirmation email.
What's included in the price?
The guide and the dive. You can select any additional equipment rental, including a torch, during the booking process.
Do I need certification?
Yes — Open Water (or higher) certification, plus recent dive experience. If it's been a while since your last dive, get in touch about a refresher first.
What if conditions aren't safe?
We monitor conditions daily. If the dive can't go ahead safely, we'll reschedule at no cost.
What if I need to reschedule?
Rescheduling is free as long as it's more than 72 hours before your dive. Inside 72 hours there's a $50 transfer fee.
Can a friend or partner join for the day if they're not diving?
They're very welcome to meet us at the dive site, but unfortunately we don't have a spare seat in the vehicle for them.
I want to do this privately, or with just my friends — can that be done?
Yes! We run private dives and tours for individuals and groups when the scheduled dates don't line up with your availability. Get in touch and we'll arrange one for you.
Where will we dive?
This depends on the conditions on the day. We always pick the best and safest site for the swell, wind and visibility at the time, and we'll confirm where we're heading on the morning.
Where should we park?
Ocean Street North is your best bet — free parking all day, a short walk from the dive centre. From there you can either come with us to the dive site or take your own car.
Can I use my own vehicle?
Definitely. Meet us at the dive centre to get fitted for your equipment — we'll transport it to the site and back for you. If you drive yourself you can head off straight from the dive site instead of coming back to the centre for the clean-up.
Should I come earlier to try on the equipment?
No need. The start time is the time we want you at the dive centre — fitting your equipment is already built into it.
I don't have a dive buddy — is that okay?
Absolutely. We'll pair you with another diver in the group or with the instructor running the session. Coming on your own is completely normal here.
I don't have any equipment — can I still join?
Yes. We have a big range of scuba equipment available for you to use.
